- This policy explains how Codelbee Pty Ltd and its affiliates (we, us, our) use cookies and similar tracking technologies (cookies) on our websites.
- This policy applies to all of the websites that we operate including but not limited to Milkshake, milkshake.app, msha.ke and all related domains.
What cookies are
- Cookies are tiny pieces of data generated as you navigate a website, and they are transferred to your computer or mobile device, where your web browser stores them. These cookies perform various tasks, such as tracking items in an online store’s cart, keeping you logged into a website, or monitoring browsing activity by recording which buttons you’ve clicked or which websites you’ve recently visited.
- Clear gifs, pixel trackers, and web beacons function much like cookies. These are small, invisible graphics embedded within web pages, each containing a unique identifier that can monitor a user’s actions both on individual pages and across different websites they visit.
- All references to cookies in this policy also include references to clear gifs, pixel trackers, web beacons and similar tracking technologies.
Types of Cookies that we use
- Codelbee uses the following categories of cookies:
-
Necessary cookies: Necessary cookies ensure that a website functions properly by supporting key features like page navigation, maintaining security, and providing access to content that requires authentication.
-
Preferences: These cookies allow the storage of information that alters how a website functions or appears, such as setting the language based on your location.
-
Statistics and Performance: These cookies help us understand who visits our websites, including using anonymized and aggregated audience profiling analytics, and how visitors interact with our websites, such as which sections are visited more or less frequently, so we can improve how information is presented on those websites.
-
Marketing: Marketing cookies track your browsing activity to tailor and display ads that are relevant and engaging. This includes:
- Codelbee using cookies to share information with third parties about how users navigate to and interact with our websites, enabling those third parties to show ads that are relevant to users’ experience on our websites; and
- Codelbee receiving cookies from third parties regarding how users have interacted with other websites, allowing Codelbee to display ads that are relevant to their activity on third-party websites.
Information that cookies collect and share
- The information that cookies on Codelbee’s websites collect includes, but is not limited to:
- How you interact with our websites, such as the pages you visit, the buttons or items you click on, and the time spent on different sections;
- Search terms you enter;
- Details about the device, operating system, and web browser you use to access our websites, including device type, browser type and version, and session identifiers;

How to manage your preferences and settings
- You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie banner, which either appears automatically when you visit our websites or can be accessed via the “Cookie Preferences” link located in the footer of any of our websites.
- You can select which categories of cookies to allow by toggling the on/off switches within the cookie banner.
- If you wish to update your cookie settings, you can reopen the cookie banner through the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of any of our websites. However, please note that if you previously disabled certain cookie categories, we may still use information gathered from cookies that were set before they were disabled. We will, however, stop collecting any further information from the disabled cookies.
- Our websites are divided across different domains, such as msha.ke and milkshake.app. When you set your cookie preferences on one domain, those choices may not always apply to another domain within our websites. In such cases, the cookie banner may appear again on the separate domain, allowing you to set your preferences for that part of the website. This will not impact any cookie settings you’ve previously selected on other domains.
- Your cookie preferences won’t carry over between different web browsers, such as Chrome and Firefox. So, if you set your cookie preferences in one browser, you may still see the cookie banner when you visit the same website for the first time using a different browser.
- Please note that cookies influence how our website functions, so if you disable performance and preference cookies, it may affect the quality of your experience on the site.
- Using ad blockers or similar tools may disrupt the functionality of our cookie banner, potentially preventing it from displaying.
- You can also adjust how your web browser handles cookies by modifying the settings directly in your browser.
